The policy choices we make at the State Assembly directly impacts you, whether it be the costs of your utilities and housing, or our transit systems and safety net programs. Your feedback matters, and this survey helps me understand your top priorities.

Many of us were hit hard by the chaos sown by the Republican federal government shutdown. Delays in food benefits. Unpaid TSA and air traffic controllers. One more example of the lack of federal duty. I recognize how hard it’s been for countless families. Working-class families are being deliberately starved by the radical right-wing regime in DC and farmers are suffering under Trump’s tariff wars.

The Republican federal government shutdown is about to enter its fifth week, and its devastating consequences are putting real families at risk. Without federal funding, CalFresh (federally known as SNAP) benefits are now delayed in November, and the federal regime is refusing to tap into emergency funds to help those who depend on this lifeline.
