Every year, I have the honor of recognizing our district's "Unsung Heroes" who make our community a better place. From educators and volunteers to healthcare workers and public servants, our honorees have left long lasting impacts on countless lives.

With our next "Unsung Heroes: event coming up this Spring, I need YOUR help with nominating a community member whose work may have gone unnoticed. The deadline for submitting a nomination is Sunday, March 15, 2026, so be sure to complete the form by clicking the button below.

Since taking office, I have recognized over 110 individuals and organizations across our district. Check out the stories of our honorees last year! Their work every day, such as helping our unhoused neighbors, volunteering for local libraries, and advocating for healthcare funding, is an inspiration to all of us.
